Job Summary
The Warehouse & Logistics Officer is responsible for the efficient handling, storage, movement, and control of materials and equipment to support warehouse operations and project sites. The role ensures accurate inventory management, timely availability of materials for installation, compliance with safety and quality standards, and coordination of logistics and customs activities.
Work Location: Suvarnabhumi Airport
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the warehousing operations including receipt, storage, issuing, and removal of goods.
- Ensure efficient and proper handling in the warehouse while optimizing space utilization.
- Develop and manage Warehouse Management System (WMS), maintaining accurate system records and stock integrity.
- Control stock movements, perform regular inventory checks, and handle returns, damaged, or non-conforming materials.
- Conduct and manage regular stock count exercises e.g. quarterly or annual stock-takes.
- Operate and ensure the correct and safe use of warehouse equipment (e.g. forklifts, pallet jacks, stackers) in compliance with safety standards.
- Manage planning activities by confirming material and equipment availability against work schedules.
- Manage inbound and outbound logistics for international and domestic shipments, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.
- Coordinate transportation activities, including scheduling, routing, and liaison with carriers, customs brokers, suppliers, and service providers.
- Prepare, verify, and maintain accurate shipping and delivery documentation to support timely delivery and customer requirements.
- Handle audits and liaise with auditors for warehousing and logistics processes.
- Monitor supplier performance and manage service contracts with warehousing and logistics suppliers.
- Identify operational issues and contribute to continuous improvement of warehousing and logistics processes.
- Other tasks as assigned.
Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in warehouse and logistics operations
- Good command of written and spoken English
- Proficient in SAP, and MS Office applications (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
- Must have good knowledge of Thai customs, tax, and trade compliance requirements
- Familiar with Incoterms, HS codes, and international shipping rules and processes
- Experience with BOI regulations is an advantage
- Strong coordination, organizational skills, and quality awareness
