HSEC MANAGER SPAIN

Main Responsibilities

·         Maintain and improve the Integrated Management System (Quality, Environment, Occupational Health & Safety) across the organization.

·         Collaborate in continuous improvement processes and performance evaluations with the HSEC Department.

·         Conduct internal audits and support both internal and external audits.

·         Work with other departments to achieve Quality, Environment, and Occupational Health & Safety Policy objectives.

·         Establish and monitor process/service control methodologies and indicators, analyze results, and implement improvement actions.

·         Support and promote Quality, Environment, and Occupational Health & Safety programs and initiatives, ensuring their effectiveness.

·         Manage competencies and training systems related to HSEC.

·         Ensure the application and continuous improvement of the Integrated Management System.

·         Identify environmental aspects and communicate significant findings throughout the organization.

·         Participate in hazard identification, risk assessment, and determination of necessary controls for workplace safety and health.

·         Monitor Emergency Plans and Health & Safety plans implemented by HSEC technicians in each project.

·         Ensure compliance with applicable legal requirements and analyze stakeholder requirements in HSEC.

·         Apply risk management in Environment and Occupational Health & Safety for processes, projects, and products.

·         Prepare and control reports on Quality, Environment, and Occupational Health & Safety.

·         Ensure effective communication with stakeholders and authorities regarding Environment and Occupational Health & Safety.

·         Periodically verify the implementation of the Integrated Management System and provide data for management review and continuous improvement.

·         Participate as an observer in the organization’s Safety and Health Committee meetings.

·         Supervise accident investigations conducted by HSEC technicians.

·         Manage corrective and preventive actions, ensuring proper closure of non-conformities.

Requirements

·         Education: Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, or related field. Advanced Technician in Occupational Risk Prevention, with at least three specialties: Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, and Ergonomics & Applied Psychosociology.

·         Experience: Minimum 5  years in a similar position

·         Additional Training: Knowledge of Integrated Management Systems. Experience in management system audits. Knowledge of Quality and Environmental Management.

·         Languages: Advanced English (C1) and Spanish (advanced).

·         IT Skills: Advanced in Office 365 SAP, Outlook, Teams.

·         Other Skills: Strong communication and teamwork abilities. Analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work collaboratively with multiple departments and stakeholders. Proven ability to partner with senior leaders in fast-changing, dynamic environments — strong influencing skills and the confidence to challenge when necessary.
